After a combined total of 48 years teaching elementary school, we retired and moved to Bellingham, Washington – a town where three of our five children have made their homes. (We are still hoping the other two will join us!)
We built our dream home, doing much of the work ourselves. After the dust settled and we recovered, we began a new chapter of our lives. Sandy dug out her loom and returned to her first love – weaving. Doug scaled down and began building things “for fun”. Thus, Validate-Appreciate was born!
An added bonus is 6 our of out 8 grandchildren are here, providing ready-made market testers. They have the prototypes of all of our creations!
